Familiarize yourself with the park’s regulations regarding trail driving and stick to designated routes.The park has regulations in place to manage off-road activities, ensuring that they are conducted responsibly and with minimal impact on the environment. Guests are required to adhere to specific rules, which help in maintaining the park’s natural habitat.

Leave No Trace:

Pack out all waste, including human waste if necessary. Use established restroom facilities when available. Respecting and preserving the environment is at the core of what we do. Visiting inaccessible locations in Joshua Tree National Park is not allowed and strongly discouraged. Off-roading in undesignated areas can damage the fragile desert ecosystem, harm wildlife, erode soil, and disturb the park’s natural beauty. It is also illegal and can result in fines, penalties, and the closure of trails.
